It is my pleasure to welcome you to Ysgol Santes Fair, St Mary’s School, Brymbo.

At St Mary’s, we are proud to be a Church in Wales Voluntary Aided primary school, serving our local community through a nurturing, inclusive and aspirational learning environment. We believe that every child is unique and deserves the opportunity to flourish academically, socially, emotionally and spiritually.

Through the Curriculum for Wales, we aim to develop ambitious, capable learners; enterprising, creative contributors; ethical, informed citizens; and healthy, confident individuals. We encourage our pupils to be curious, resilient and compassionate, equipping them with the knowledge, skills and values they need for the future.

As an inclusive school, we are proud to host a specialist Resourced Provision, supporting learners with a range of additional learning needs. Inclusion lies at the heart of everything we do, and we work closely with families, professionals and the wider community to ensure that every child feels valued, supported and able to succeed.

Strong partnerships between home, school, church, governors and the wider community are central to our success. We recognise that children achieve their best when they are encouraged, challenged and supported by those around them, and we greatly value the role families play in their child’s educational journey.
